Chando resides in New York City. Chando started her acting career while attending Manhattan College. Chando played Maddie Coleman, the lead character of As the World changes from 2005 to 2007. She then reprised her role for a brief period of time beginning late 2009. The first time she appeared on stage was her debut on the TV show House Blend, where she played Jenna Harper. As the World Turns, the CBS-recorded American soap opera that ran for three years. Alexandra played Maddie Coleman. Later in 2009 Chando got a role in the American documentary TV series True life and further appeared in the TV series, Sherri. The actress was featured in two episodes Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) in the role of Annabelle. Also, she has credits on Castle, Hindsight Dead People and Outcast.
